Rods and Reels

Get Your Fly Right has chosen Elkhorn Fly rods and reels for some very good reasons. The quality and workmanship put into these rods is evident the first time you cast them. The action and quick response is comparable to some of the most expensive rods. If you are looking for fine equipment without exuberant price, this is the brand for you. Also the factory warranty doesn't leave you guessing. 100% lifetime guarantee on materials and workmanship. If the rod is broken, Elkhorn replaces that section for $30.00. Reels are handled on a case by case basis, not to exceed $50.00 for a repair. No nonsense.

EX Series Three(3) Piece Rods

This series of rods were designed with a stiffer butt section to generate higher line speed and superb accuracy with a slightly higher modulus graphite. The faster progressive action is perfect for making longer casts or cheating the wind. Each model will effectively handle two line sizes to allow greater flexibility under changing conditions.

Available in weight combinations of 4/5 through 8/9.
Rod weights 4/5 and 5/6 have nickel-silver reel seat skeletons with polished rosewood.

T Series Fly Reels

The Elkhorn T-Series reel is a mid-arbor reel that features an over-sized cork-on-delrin disk drag system for deep, smooth, controlled stopping power. This proven drag design ranges from free spinning to absolute brute force strength. A perfect choice for fresh or saltwater applications at a sensible price.

All Elkhorn reels are fully machine-cut from aircraft-quality aluminum billet stock for supreme strength and maximum corrosion resistance. Low inertia drag systems result in minimum startup resistance. Precision needle bearings glide over a polished chromium alloy spindle to create the silky smooth drag and retrieve that our reels have built their reputation upon. There are no other machined reels that compete with an Elkhorn, guaranteed.

Large arbor disk drag, free spooling to lock-down, machined aluminum, no die-cast pieces
